Irkenified Roach

Okey dokey! Before I go into my usual speech, I would like to give credit to Invader Luz! I absolutely admire her drawing style and the way she outlines her work with a sharpie. When I tried that, my scanner didn't kill as much of the pic as it usually does. Oh, and I hope ya' don't mind Luz! ^_^

And now for the fun stuff!

I don't remember if I've ever told you about Roach, but he my was my major crush at school and I even got to dance with him at homecoming!!! His name is really Brian, but everyone calls him Roach...it's his last name too. Well, this is him as an Irken! It was weird. What he was wearing gave me inspiration to draw him. I only added the Irken symbol and changed his shoes. Hehe. It took forever to color this since I kept getting distracted. I'm really proud of this though. I even wrote "Zim Rulz" in the corner.

When my mom asked if I was going to give it to Roach my reaction was, "*gasp* NO! It'd be really weird for me to go up to him and say...hey Roach! I drew you as an Irken! He would have no idea what an Irken was anyway! He'd probably think 'okay...she DRAWS me..'" HAHA!

Self-Critique

I like how the R turned out, but the other letters could have come out better.

I could've done better on the hands. The hand he's waving with was originally going to be a thumbs up.
