Irkenified Nikki

Sign: Happy really, really early birthday Nikki!

I was at Nikki's house for a sleep over when we felt like drawing at 2 in the morning, haha! She drew me realistically, and I drew her as an Irken 'cause I said it'd take a lot longer for me to draw realistically. I finished drawing Nikki on January 16. I didn't get started on the background until much later. Once I began drawing it, I'd do it off and on, adding bits and pieces of it. The stairs look weird because I had inked Nikki before adding them. I have to stop doing that. >.O

That door is supposed to lead to her room. I partially made the background resemble the house. She doesn't have stairs, but I needed something for her foot to go on.

I had decided to make this for her birthday, which is on April 11th. I suppose the second 'really' doesn't mean so much now, lol. Anyway, the Irkens in the pictures are Dana (who isn't really Dana, but me. Christina isn't a very appealing Irken name, XD) and Bono...yes, I Irkenified a celebrity! That's definitely a first! Nikki is obsessed with U2, so it was a must. :D

Self-Critique

Aside from the cheesy Paint "edits", I love this picture. The cabinet thingy bugs me though...it's all crooked and stuff. Perfectionists like me hate that. Oh well, I've always had a battle with straight lines, and proportions. XD
