Belated 8th Zimversary

It is finally here even though it should've finished long ago, haha. I drew this on March 30th, the day Zim premiered. Inking and coloring came way later. So yeah, here it is 2 months later. It's still been 8 years since the gift of Zim was bestowed upon us so this picture is still valid! 8D

Here be the words if it is sorta' hard to read.

Lar Nar: *to technician* Hail them!
Technician: INCOMING TRANSMISSION!*
Zim: I...er...haven't had time to prepare anything for today so...
Dib: Does this mean I get to say something??
Purple: I don't think so because...
Red: Only Christina would say...
Me: HAPPY 8-YEAR ZIMVERSARY EVERYONE!!!

*note: You are being told there is a transmission, which begins with Zim's dialogue.

Self-Critique

It's not my best work ever, but I like it anyway. I think it's cute and love the fact that I threw so many characters on a small piece of paper. I'm not too happy of how Zim, Dib, Tak, and I came out. I was going to stuff Gaz in there too, but I gave up after the first try since I'm terrible as drawing her, lol. Coming up with the text may have been the hardest part actually. I wanted it to be a continuous speech from one character to the next starting with Zim, but I didn't think to do this until after I came up with Dib's question. But I kept it in because I think it's funny that it was Dib who messed up the flow. XD
