Tree Whisperer

It's Commander Zullian! There's only one more Commander left before you've seen them all. :)

Basically, Zullian is the oldest guy on the base and was even a general at one point in his life. After sustaining an injury in some war or other, he felt it'd be best to step down and give someone else a turn as the general. He still fights in battles as a Commander, but he doesn't have to worry about being in the frontlines...not that he wouldn't do it if they really needed him. He still has it in him. The only problem is that he's starting to lose it. My sister and I have a running gag involving him talking to someone then randomly finishing the conversation with a tree. He gets so caught up in his stories that he doesn't realize when everyone has gone. XD

And the cane? Not many know if he actually needs it, but he does use it to thwack people on the head if they're being stupid. He's highly respected though so he doesn't need to do it too often. Even stuck-up Leroy has no intentions to ever cross him.

Self-Critique

The sky came out horribly on my scanner, so I took a good portion and did the 'ol copy/paste method for the whole thing. I know. I'm insane. But it was worth it. Anyway, I adore this picture. I'm especially fond of Zullian's posture and expression. I also love the tree. I spent a ton of time coloring that alone. It's pry one of the better trees I've drawn too. The other Irkens didn't come out so well, and I just fail at drawing benches. Lol!
