One of our assignments in my art class was to use contour lines (only the outline) to draw different students posing in the center of the room. Out of all of the ones that I did, my drawing of this kid (Brian is his name) came out the best. I just loved how he posed because 1. In my laziness, I was happy not to have to draw his face, and 2. It was unlike any of the other poses. Our next assignment was to incorporate one or two of the figure drawings into a watercolor painting. This one didn't involve much speculation on my part because I had an idea of what I wanted to do as soon as I drew Brian.
