A DJ Saved My Life

"Last night a DJ saved my life, singing ah, ah, ah, ah, staying alive. 'Cause you make me feel that that's the way, uh huh, uh huh, I like it. I'm going to dance all night."

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you DJ Gabry Ponte in color! I'm still getting the hang of my new Prismacolors, but I did this one in my sketchbook instead of computer paper like my previous colored picture, and I'm still pleased with the outcome. Gabry's just a fun model to draw because in all the photos I've seen of him, he's never got the same look twice. He can be mischievous, serious, calm, sexy, or creepy if he wants to. That's why I love drawing him. He's just so dynamic and cool.

Anywho, this was some more practice with new poses and new coloring techniques. I think my favorite thing about the coloring is his hair because I got the shade spot on. Not quite black, but as dark brown as possible. I do like the pose I put him in, too. It's fun.
