Three and Two Heads

I finally got back all of my art from first semester. This particular painting was the bane of my existence because I had to work on it over Christmas vacation, and when I brought it home in the thick cardboard tube my teacher gave me, it wouldn't come out and I ended up sawing through the tube and, go figure, the painting. That's where that giant rip comes from. My teacher about had a cow when she saw it, but it was her fault for putting it in such a small tube. Anyway, I had to paint a classic/contemporary still life that she set up for me, and she wasn't satisfied with my "boring" colors, so that's why the chair shadows are blue. I can't say that this is one of my favorite projects, but compared to everyone else's, I really can't complain.
