A while ago I asked myself why Batman, unlike so many other comic-book superheroes, never appeared to have had any steady girlfriend. Superman has Lois Lane, Spiderman has Mary Jane Watson, and even the Hulk has Betty Ross, but poor Bruce Wayne seems to have always been single. What if he wasn't?
