Description
Nani from lilo and stitch Alexis from yu-gi-oh GX drawn from google images, colored with pencils and markers
Rodrick chose the colors for Nani. I didn't have a purple pencil, thus I had to use markers on Nanis pants, I am not very skilled or experienced with marker coloring, but want to learn.
on Alexis, I had not drawn the arm out to the side at all because I didn't want to draw the duel disk, and after I sketched both girls, Roderick insisted I add an arm. so Alexis is waving at you because there was no other place to add an arm, and that arm is an unreferanced and hasty addition to appease a three year old
when I do crossover art I like to draw the basic chars as they originally are first to get to know them. this was for the project Rainbow Dash-rockz requested.
copying a standard image, this sort of fan art I am quite skilled at [more than you see here, these were very quickly done, not intended to be a perfect copy. but this is not the fan art I most enjoy, though there is a certain magic in seeing I can make something look just like a standard image.
what I most enjoy is taking characters and doing them in a different style or context or missing them with something else as Rainbow-dash-Rockz asked me to do with these two. It became a good excursive in both sorts of fan art, thank you for the request, Rainbow-dash-rockz
