K_Pepper is holding this coloring contest. please participate so we can see how it looks in all different styles and media and colors.

this is the same coloring I posted before, just the hand colored version scanned rather than dark iPad photo ---which gives a much different feel...and no cropping or anything just so you can see how it looked in that style before I photod and digital on it.
resized only, colored with random pens markers colored pencils and pencil. mostly pens.

HAHA you saw purple background too? every version I have envisioned so far has had purple on the ground. the next one won't. I"m considering pink though, which is close. I use semitransparent layers to retain some of the lines--like for shading and contour--- in digital coloring, other than that I don't know how to select lines out of a scan in fire alpaca so I just redraw most the lines.
yeah you said you would avoid saying which you liked best on the early ones, anyhow, so it wouldn't bias my relation for the final submission, because that wouldn't be fair. I do hope more people will join.
