I'm trying to make a new id pic for myself, because the ones I am using are quite outdated

I'm gradually working on a self portrait. this is a sketch from an iPad selfie, just trying to figure perspective and pose.... I like the way this looks. it's not the finished thing, just a quick sketch.

the finished thing will be part traditional part digital and insanely detailed, and will take a long time to make. might never finish.

EDIT..... HEEEEY why'd this get stuck in the cue??? oh well. now I have to post another to top over my messy sketches on the front page.

overall i've done much more traditional than digital, and i am more skilled at traditional, especially pencil. I do digital because I want to increase my skill and can practice with only a computer [or to make a fast bright color illustration] I have plans to do lots of traditional work, but haven't had the kind of time and space I need for it much lately. I should probably do more quick, focused pencil sketches like this.... referenced ....life drawing rather than fan art. [aka fan art of God's artwork]

(The "artist ID" category was set to manually screen submissions, that's why. Probably for concerns about meme/montage based images. Which is admittedly something you're not able to see during submit time.)
