Sauron Helmet- Finished!

Description

Months later-- since I haven't been working on it-- and just in time for Halloween, I have completed my Dark Lord Sauron helmet with the following items: a balloon, glue, masking tape, newspaper and college brochure shreddings, silver spray paint, and black tempera paint. All for my little 7 year old brother, who won't even be scary in it -.-'

Including the Silmarillion ^.^? I agree- PJ took a bit too much artistic license with it. Generally I just don't like Orlando Bloom or PJ's zombie obsession.

btw, as a follow up- my brother got many compliments, as did I, and I was surprised by how many people recognized him! It was very cool =) After a block, though, he couldn't breathe and his feet hurt, so we went home and passed out some candy XD

Oh, he's a brat- but he's a pretty good little brat ^.^ so it's worth it. And yes, that is B. Matthews from Horatio Hornblower on my desktop!! He's a boxswain by then ^.^ What a sweety!

I love that helmet! So nicely done too! It looks real, he should be thanking you for a long time.
