Description
My French Revolutionary RP character Jean Badeau. I wanted to do a better realism of him since my other pictures were on Photoshop, which I'm not to great with (but slowly getting better ^^) He is presently my main character in the FAC RPG Life on the High Seas. So far he's been on a ship once in the game O.o

I was happy with this picture (depsite the dark stripe characteristic of my sketchbook pieces) because he looks very French ;)

Thanks, both of you ^^ Yeah, I always try to keep the head in the middle, but I usually fail ;) and my sketchbook is not very cooperative ^^

Oh man, I like the eyes. It's like you can look at this guy and tell that he's thinking something.
Noses are so hard to draw, but you've got it pretty perfect. ^_^ Nationality-another hard thing to do-and you've got it pretty perfect. :P
When doing portraits, however, try to keep the head in the center of the paper, so that there's some space left between the edges of the head and the edges of the paper (altough it may have turned out like that in the scan).
Oh, and I like the texture in the jacket. :)
