Title: Team 8

The Story:
Not really much of a story to this one, a drawing of Kurenai’s squad as they were in the beginning of the series.

My Take:
This was originally done almost three years ago. I’ve decided to go back over this one (as well as most of my older ones) to see how much I’ve improved over the years. This looks much better than it did before (if I do say so myself), and it only took half the time to do!

What I Like Most:
Despite what people think of the way I draw Hinata’s eyes, I’m the one doing it, and I like how they look. With all that said, I made a small change to them, which make her look more gentle. I also changed Hinata’s and Kurenai’s hair to look closer to their original style.

What I Dislike Most:
Kiba and Shino didn’t really change too much, I still don’t like the way Shino’s hand turned out…you’d figure after this long, I’d learn from the last time. Other than that, I can’t really find anything else to gripe about.

Final Thoughts:
For those of you that are new to my drawings, I use a different style than you are used to. I have nothing against the original style, but I’m not going to try to be someone that I’m not. I want to have a style of my own.

I really enjoy doing revisions of my older works every now and then. It’s always a great way for me to see how much I’ve improved over a period of time.
