Tainted

Title: Tainted

The Story
What’s this? Kagome is possessed, and she’s tainted the Sacred Jewel.

My Take:
Sometimes I’m amazed with some of the ideas you can come up with, especially when you’re half-asleep. I’m usually able to catch InuYasha when I wake up in the morning, and they passed through the episodes with the Dark Priestess, Tsubaki. While I was half-awake, my mind sometimes goes in odd directions, and this is what I came up with.

What I Like Most
I liked the idea of adding Tsubaki’s serpant into this drawing, it was pretty much a last minute idea, but I’m glad it came in time! For the most part, I like the way this one was colored. The jewel itself was providing the light, which did get tricky at times.

What I Dislike Most
I’m starting to have second thoughts about making the Sacred Jewel black, even though that’s the color I’ve seen when it’s tainted with evil, maybe I should have gone with either a purple-ish color, or left it the was it was?

Final Thoughts
Please don’t make me have to find that disclaimer, it’s been a long time since I had to use it, and I don’t want to start now.
