Title: Shimei Ryomou
The Story:
I can’t really think of a story for this one. I haven’t tried a character from IkkiTousen in a while, so I figured I’d try now while I’m on vacation.
My Take:
A very good friend of mine really loves this character, as a matter of fact Ryomou is her favorite character from this series! I didn’t really want this one to be “just another drawing,” so I at least went looking around for poses that I wanted to try. I ended up finding a picture of Janet Jackson, and tried the pose I saw. This didn’t come out too badly if I do say so myself.
What I Like Most:
How about that! I didn’t really have too much trouble with her hands which is a regular trouble spot for me. The aforementioned pose came out very nicely as I hoped!
What I Dislike Most:
This didn’t really come out too badly, I just wasn’t able to come up with a background for this one, plus I had a couple shading issues this time.
Final Thoughts:
Overall I’m very pleased with the way Ryomou came out here. Unfortunately I couldn’t really think of a background to go along with her, but it’ll have to be something I need to live without.
