Title: Happy Holidays
The Story:
That's right clones, it's about that time of year again! What better way to get into the Holiday spirit, (and the drawing spirit for that matter), than to start with a Holiday drawing? Here we have the group of wives, girlfriends, or acquaintances holding on to small plushie forms of their men.
My Take:
Due to a very busy couple of weeks, I wasn’t able to finish a new drawing for 2007. I decided I’d go with the next best thing…a revision of the one from last year. I made the characters slightly smaller so that the drawing wouldn’t take too much space, so that they would fit into the drawing better, and so I could have more room to write “Happy Holidays” at the top. Overall, I think this one came out very nicely as compared to last year’s offering.
What I Like Most:
I wanted everyone to have a different outfit, so I came out with a few outfits…which didn’t really make the cut, so I decided to go with some that I’ve seen somewhere else, and a couple I mixed together. Their hair came out much better than I had hoped, I especially took my time in that area. Lunch’s outfit was changed, and I added some snowflakes to the background.
What I Dislike Most:
I wasn’t quite satisfied with the way Bulma’s face came out, she kinda looks older than I wanted her to look. I had to “recycle” the little plushie guys, because it was just take too long for me to color them each individually…I still have shopping to do after all. I still can’t get those hands right!
Final Thoughts:
For those of you that are new to my drawings, I use a different style than you are used to. This style is most noticeable when I do DragonBall characters. I have nothing against the original style, I just wanted to have a style that was different than everything else.
Although this was merely a revision of last year’s drawing, all the changes made it look much better than it did last year. I still had some fun with it, although I'm sure Tien and Vegeta would disagree.

Hehe. Nice. I think Bulma's face came out well. 18 is very cool, she looks amazing. I like your style and I am indeed new to this style, but it's nice. The eyes are a bit different than usual.
