Omg... this was supposed to be colored and posted so long ago lol! :o
I found this pic when I slept over at my friend Madison's house a week ago just sitting there on my flash drive, uncolored and lonely. I remembered I had drawn it a few months ago after I'd watched the live action Hellboy movies and Sword of Storms for the animated series. I thought back to how proud I was with it when I'd sketched it out and decided I liked it too much to let it just slip away under mountains of files. Thus, now it is finished! :D
Anyway, this is my take on Hellboy (obviously). It has some of the characteristics from both the live action as well as the animated versions :) I had fun trying to mix him into my style, though it wasn't easy. Originally his Right Hand of Doom came out waaaay the shiz too small (which I later resized as you can see), as well I'm not too happy with how his left outstretched leg came out. Failed foreshortening is fail XD I also ended up having to redraw some of his trench coat too. That was a pain DX There's still a few other errors with his design here but in the end I thought not to change them. This is how I, Jessica, see Hellboy. Therefore, I can do as I please ;) I'm still happy with the outcome no matter how long it took me to work on. I put a lot of effort into this and so I can be happy with the end result ^_^
