COOL! A guy playing the Ukulele! your drawing just caught my eye because I'm learning to play the ukulele right now. As for your drawing I think its well done. I like the small deatils that you decided to include like the Hawaiian flower on his sandal, the grains of sand and also the reflection of the sun off the ocean. About the messy-ness, I think it looks cool because it gives off some energy compared to if you smoothed things out.
