Mainly a reference doodle. This was gonna be one of those things where text tells you something and points at it....but I ran out of room for the text....*coughs* So I'm just gonna write it here.
Sparks Volteon Hedgehog, Hermaphrodite, Hedgehog/Cyborg.
(This next part depends on what height you're using. Normal game height and human height. I normally use human height with Sparks, but whatever.)
Normal game height: 75 centimeters/ 2'5
Human height: 5'2
(Explanations on each part)
Ears - Super sensitive to high frequencies, and shaped to draw more sounds from the surroundings.
Eyes - Are heightened to see the slightest detail. Robotic eye armed with zoom and several different vision modes and screen abilities, normal eye only capable of two visions besides normal.
Mouth - Filled with approximately 24 teeth. Four molars located in back, two 'Saber-canines' -larger than average-, two slightly smaller canines, four incisors. If any amount of teeth are lost during battle, then they may regrow from anywhere to a few hours to a couple of days. Made mainly for carnivorous appetite.
Antennae - Two sharp points located on either of Sparks' cheeks. Usually hidden by bangs. Made to gather electricity and energy from surrounding enviroment. Also can be used to stab opponent. Usually releases anything from a shower of sparks to crackling, buzzing and little pops of light depending on Sparks' mood.
Bangs - Mainly the two large uneven 'tendril' bangs are used to hide the antennae, though they serve no real purpose.
Spikes/Quills - Though normally presented flat and of no real use, they bristle and rise up into two rows when battling. Due to Sparks' armguards/shinguards, he cannot perform any form of 'Spin Dash'. Uses his quills mainly for intimidation and can use them in close combat. Have 5 quills altogether, though one is blended into the area in the middle of the two small quills.
Lightning/Green markings - Mainly the bright green coloring is used as a distraction and also a warning. Glows when Sparks uses electrical attacks.
Neck - Protected with a metal plating highly resistant to damage so his neck is not a easy target to get to.
Chest - Colored gold to mimic Metal Sonic's gold ring on his abdomen. Really serves no purpose other than to issue warmth to the body.
Back - Holds two to four -depending on how recent Sparks was in a fight- premature quills too flimsy and small to do any damage.
Armguards/Shinguards - One of the few things Sparks 'wears'. Can be removed. Functions as defense for his arms and legs and armed with two large spikes on the ends used for stabbing.
Palm protectors - Gold protectors to protect and straighten his palms/wrists. Another copy/mimic of Metal Sonic's armor. Protectors also hide another wrist joint set that he can switch his hands to, allowing them to rotate 360 degrees.
Fingers - Long and robotic, sharpened into deadly blades. Combined with his power of electricity and his secondary wrist joints, he can create a deadly spinning set of blades or a rotating tesla coil like weapon. Can also drill into most materials, so he can wall-walk if needed.
Legs - Long and athletic, built to be enhanced so he can jump from rooftop to rooftop.
Shoes - Bottoms hide a pair of electrical jets and magnets. Can cling to metallic surfaces and allow Sparks to fly...Sparks uses the jets to glide from area to area rather than actually fly.
Small Size - Sparks, surprisingly, is very short compared to most characters. Mainly, Katrina 'blessed' him with her 'short' genes. Sparks, however, does have the ability to get into areas most others can't. His small size also makes him a more difficult target and blesses him with increased agility.
Vision modes (the thing animated in the upper right corner) - Normal -> Targeting -> Biological detection -> 'Hunter's Sense' -> Night Vision (repeat)
