Umlaut had been doing his usual pranking, involving his amazing, super super-glue. He had just finished sticking a few of the residents of CarnEvil in weird spots, such as walls and ceilings -somehow-, when he realized he hadn't seen Hocus that day. It didn't take very long to find the demon-boy, who was reading through books collected off of the rotting corpses of the mortals that had recently visited. He had been so entranced in reading, that he didn't notice he was standing in the middle of nowhere like a mindless zombie.
"Hocus...hocus? H-Hocus? Hello?" Umlaut asked, trying to get the attention of his friend. "Hellooooo? Anybody home?" He knocked on the other's head, and waved a hand in front of his eyes. Eventually, he managed to snap Hocus out of his reading.
"Hmm? Oh, Hi Umlaut..." He said, never seeming to notice that the jester had been sitting there, trying to get his attention for the past five minutes.
"What on earth were you reading that got your attention like that?" Umlaut asked, leaning in to try to read some of the text. However, the book was slammed closed and tossed over the crimson and silver haired man's shoulder before he could catch a glimpse of anything. "Nothing in particular...so...anything you were wanting to bug me about?"
"I wanted to show you some of my handi-work...involving lots of super-glue...and people in CarnEvil." The gold and purple clad being gave his sharp-toothed grin. "Ever see the siamese twins turn into a human wheel?!"
"Ooh, you glued their hands together?" Hocus smiled when it was mentioned. "Oh, you gotta show me."
"So I shall...off to the Freak Show!" Umlaut grabbed Hocus' hand...before realizing something. His claws tried to release the other's hand...but unfortunately...
"Um...Hocus?"
"Yes?" Hocus replied, raising an eyebrow in questioning.
"You're gonna get a kick out of this...or maybe you're not...but um...seems a bit of super-glue got stuck on my glove...heh.." He demonstrated his point by trying to release the other's hand, waving his arm up and down frantically while trying to get his hand back, with no sucess.
Hocus just looked at him with an irritation clear on his face, and he sighed. "Do you have super-glue remover?"
"Nope."
"Can you take off your glove?"
"Nope, it's not detachable from the costume."
"Greeeaaat..." Hocus whined.

Ah, another wonderful piece of fanart for WtCE. Finally, another pic with the two together.
Anyways, I wanted a pairing picture of the two, involving them being stuck together. Seeing as I'm not normally picky with who I pair up, boy-wise, I decided to give it a try.
If Hocus and Umlaut were to ever get into a relationship -which is...plausible...I don't think I'll make a story for it unless requested by someone- most of what would go on between them would be unintentional, and would involve much hilarity and awkwardness. Little things, such as being super-glued together by the hands -which would earn much odd looks around CarnEvil-, tripping and falling onto the other, and so on and so forth. XD
But, I seemed to grow to these two, and I decided to toss it up in my gallery.
Comments, as always, are welcome. :3
