The Magician of the Streets

This is a new character I came up with recently, and who successfully dragged me out of my art-block ditch. This has to be one of the most detailed art pieces I've done, and it was a pain in the butt to even come up with a good color scheme for his clothes...but I'm rather fond of him.

He was inspired by a marching band leader, a circus ring-leader and a magician. No, I don't have a name for him, though I am leaning in the direction of 'Spade' -given the spade tattoos and tarot/playing cards he uses-. He is -obviously- not human, but I haven't determined as to what species he is.

Maybe he's a species all his own, or some crazy hybrid of creatures. I dunno. What I do know, is that he is a street magician. He can do magic -actual magic and performing magic- that he uses for his tricks, and often gives readings from his deck of playing-card inspired tarot deck, which he also uses as magic-infused weapons -they're enchanted to replace themselves-.

Yes, that is a zipper on his mouth, made of copper -his ear piercings and cane are also copper-. His mouth can be shut with the zipper, though only with his consent. Typically, it remains open.

So, yeah...there he is....what do you think?
