Witching Hour Pg. 4

Alright, page 4 is up and ready to read. Some might require a little explanation regarding what is going on with Plague in this one, so:

Firstly, Plague's color spectrum is mostly monochromatic. The only actual color he can see (Other than Black, Grey and White) is Red. This makes Les Muerte particularly fascinating to him, because he's the only plague doctor that wears red. The other ones tend to blend in with his limited color range, so he doesn't really bother with them. But Les Muerte is a beacon of red in the dark.

Secondly, Plague is a nocturnal creature, thus, isn't really adapted to sudden changes in light. His eyes are reflective like mirrors, which allow him to see clearly at night. However, in daylight he'd be blinded quickly, given he has no eyelids or other means -besides his hands- to cover his eyes quick enough. The sudden light emitted from the breaking lantern hurt his eyes, and takes awhile to shake off. The temporary blindness causes double-vision, floating specks, and otherwise blurred surroundings.

Thirdly, knowing people are going to inquire as to how Plague is nocturnal and still managing to spread the disease, I'll add this. He's still 'active' in a way during the day time, but through his minions, the rats and crows. The crows as his eyes in the sky, while the rats are the carriers that help infect people.


...and yes, Andrew made a reappearance, adding a little comedy to the situation.
