A Familiar Grin...

"We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I DO NOTHING BUT FOCUS ON ONE PICTURE ALL DAY.

I get one picture I'm very, very, VERY proud of. X3 I don't think I've ever put such detail into one of my pictures before.

My rendition of the Cheshire Cat. I drew this a loooong time ago -a year or two, to be exact-, found it while I was searching for another picture, redrew it with pencil and paper and then redrew it again on the computer. XP

I wanted to capture the creepiness of Cheshire Cat, but at the same time capture a sort of wonderment about him that makes you kind of overlook the sinister looking qualities.

All of the leaves on the trees are all separate layers, starting with a main small bunch of leaves and spreading outwards, resulting in over twenty layers of just leaves.

I opted for not having clear lines on his teeth, instead erasing them after basic shading and going into greater detail to show all of his wonderful teeth off.

The signs, by the way, say -in order from top to bottom- : Up Ways, This Way, That Way, Down Ways.
