My entry for the RIFT Create a Colussus Contest on Deviantart.
I refer to this huge creature as the 'Magma Hydra'. Obviously I chose the Fire planar theme. I wanted him to be menacing, to look like he'd truly be at home near a Fire Rift. This included fire-shaped horns, a volcanic looking back, a fiery mane/tail/elbows, magma-streaked claws, fiery eyes, and fire that moves through the body -as seen in the nostrils, snout gaps-.
It was fun designing this guy, though it took me several hours of hard work. x-x
Time Taken: 7 1/2 Hours -give or take a couple minutes-
Program Used: Photoshop CS3
Tool Used: Wacom CTL460 Bamboo Pen

Oh what a wonderful creature you made, I could imagine that at a fire rift, and you worked very hard on it so i must clap my hands over your work -claps- splendid I like it.
