"Card Master"

Some time after the Ceremonial Battle. Though many Duel Monster duelists pleaded him not to Yugi Moto King of Games retired from playing the game of duel monsters in hope that his life would return to normal. But ever since Yugi’s retirement all of the worlds top duelists began to fight for his title. Some duelist played their usual game but some duelist went to greater lengths to become the new King of Games. Some resorted to cheating, sabotage, and eventually to violence. With the games reputation at stake Maxamillion Pegasus sought the help of a mysterious vigilante duelist called The Card Master. In response to Pegasus’s proposal the Card Master organized a Duel Monsters tournament on his private island and the Victor would be the new King or Queen of games and also promised that he and his men would be the keepers of the peace while the tournament took place.
No one knows the Card Master's true identity... or if he's human at all, some say he's a demon from the deepest trench of hell. But this is only one of the rumors about him. Some say he can't be killed, some say he feeds on human souls, and yet others like Seto Kaiba believe he's just an Urban legend meant to keep innocent children off the streets since the dueling war started. But one thing is for sure... no one has faced the Card Master in a duel and returned to tell of his deck strategy.
