Maybe for a title you could call it "The Baron's New Clothes" ?
Anyway, since it's for the contest, and I'm trying to promote awareness of the contests subforum, here's the URL for the place if anyone else wants to see what contests we have running:
http://www.fanart-central.net/forums/index.php?showforum=6
And since I'm experimenting with a point system in my contest, here comes the Baron's preliminary physiology ratings:
Head - 5/5. Pretty accurate to the source bird, but the expression 'feels' right as well, which is important since it can be possible for one to look too animal...
Torso - 4/5. Good job, I'm just not so sure about the muscle tones (picky me).
Arms - 5/5. No probs here.
Wings - 4/5. Because the backstory details them as decor and not flight gear.
Legs - 5/5. No complaints here.
Tail - N/A, +5pts
Pelt - 3/5. Great edgework, although again, I have my doubts about the visible abs. Also partly for being a speed drawing.
Decor - 3/5. Not much decor aside from leg texture & hand tufts, but it doesn't harm him either. Simple can be good...
Technique - 3/5. Mostly because of being a speed drawing.
Other - 5/5 for knowing the avians' backstory/info.
Total: 42/50, B+
That gives Zee some competition for featheries, good good.
And if by chance anyone else is interested in the anthro ("furry") contest I have running, this is where to find it:
