Hey, I’m just back from the cinema. “Sweeney Todd” was released only today in Switzerland (you lucky American bastards!!) and I just LOVED this movie! It is dark, really REALLY dark (even for a Burton) and extremely violent…but I love it. I must be mad.

This is the reason why I am really happy that I managed to finish this picture right on time for the Swiss release. It was really awful to draw (the details on tapestry, floor, trousers, etc…) and I am still not happy with the result.
Whatever. I hope you like it anyway.

OH GOOD HEAVEN!!! this is so I can't even describe and the greatest question that remains to be answered is why are you not happy with this!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!? it is absolutely amazing I still can't describe it the details and just overall everything is just amazing...if I could draw like that @_@ its just fantastic! e-e amazing just amazing

Oh I also wanted to ask you what exactly did you use for the picture I mean I would have asked in the other comment but I was a little distracted by the amazing picture on my computer screen and the texture of the picture looks so amazing and well I could go on and on but I'll stop here or by the time I get u could publish it as the worlds largest book for how amazing the picture is haha wow...

This is probably the best use of coloured pencils I have ever seen.The colours are awesome and I've only dreamt of having the shading and toning skills you have. On top of that you have great attention to detail. You say that you're not happy with it but it is perfect the way it is

wow. i tried doing this same picture for art class, but i didn't dare do all of the background. i only did part. lol. once i get it back from the art teacher and take a picture of it, i'll try to post it on here. but this is really good. even though i did a closer up drawing, you are still more detailed than i was!
