Leda and Zeus
Leda and Zeus
Leda and Zeus by KawaiiAmethist
Description
Description
Let us all imagine Zeus the swan has a gay bowler hat, shall we? Leda was the wife of Tyndareus (a king of Sparta) and in time gave birth to many noble children, some to her husbands...others to that naughty Zeus. In fact, Leda was the mother of the infamous Helen, whose beauty led to the Trojan War. According to myth, Leda was approached by the god Zeus while he was masquerading as a swan. Indeed, Zeus made love to Leda in this form. And the memorable union between Leda and the Swan (who, remember, was actually Zeus) has long been immortalized by painters and poets. I chose Mika for this piece because frankly only an Uesugi could pull off humping a swan plausible!
