When I had been playing the game for only a short while, my brother told that Aeris dies in the game and I got really sad. So when I actually got to the part, I was already aware of what was to come, but still when it happened, it seemed like seeing it happen was ten times worse than konwing it would happen before hand. I still cried for days. Then I stopped playing the game for years. When I decided to play it again, I got back to that part, and cried again. I thought I was just a weird person, but now I know what everybody else went through just like me. Aeris' was truly a sad stroy. I've made a comic about her death that I remade once and am currently remaking again. It's called "The Sadness of Aeris" and the story of exactly what happens is slightly altered so that Cloud actually kills Sephiroth right then and there. And Aeris is alive long enough to tell Cloud that she loves him before she dies. All those anti Aeris sites are even more proof of how the death of Aeris affected many people. Those are the people who felt so sad about it, but thought that people would think they were weird if they knew. So they tried to hide it by creating anit Aeris sites and many people felt the same way- and joined them. But really, those anti Aeris sites are the people who were affected the most by Aeris' death. Sry, I sound kinda crazy, but don't worry, I won't start a chain of anti craziness^^

I know how all you felt. When I got to her, the storyline proceeded. Aeris was about to tell cloud she loved him, And sephiroth came down and killed her. I just stared, in horror as his blade went through her. I cried, right on that spot. It was like all my body functions, memories, actions, were forgotten. I snapped and I cried, cried like a little baby. I knew Cloud and Aeris were ment to be. Yet sephiroth killed her.<br />
<br />
Everytime I hear her song, I remember her, It was almost like she was right next to me, Alive and real. I cry when I hear her song, Knowing Cloud would never see her again.<br />
<br />
When I cried, it felt like Cloud was too. he was sad in the game. I remember what Happened next, My anger rose and exploded, just at the same time cloud's did in the game.<br />
<br />
It felt as though we were one. As though Me and Cloud had fused our souls together, It felt like he was real, on another planet.<br />
<br />
During that night and for the rest of the week, I had dreams about her. and everytime in the dream she would say.<br />
<br />
"Dont forget me, I will return one day. I will return. That I promise."<br />
<br />
I woke up on th seventh day to find a pink hair ban, the same exact style as Aeris's. I know she'll be back. I know she will.<br />
<br />
some of you might think im crazy, if you do just ignore me.<br />
<br />
She will return, I know it.

This isn't the first time I look at this picture, but this time, I had to post.<br />
<br />
Aeris... was probably the character I liked best in FF7. When she died, I felt broken inside. I know this is merely a game, but I can't stand seeing characters die.<br />
<br />
Yet, as I listened to the music, it wasn't this scene that I remembered; it was when Cloud was on the break of losing his mind when the truth hit him.<br />
<br />
Maybe I'm like Cloud: a wannabe who wants to change the world, but is lost in his lies.<br />
<br />
If you think I'm off, then ignore the rambling of this sentimental fool.
