Legend of Mermaid

Alright, last submission of the day, woohoo!!

I drew and colored this in February of 2010, so this picture is fairly new. I did draw her once before, but it’s a little old and I like this one better.

I referenced this from a picture of Lucia I found on photobucket.

This is Sakura Kaoru, my Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch OC. Since I like defying the norm, Sakura's title is “Moon Pearl Voice” rather than a color. I also upped everyone’s ages to 16, etc, because I don’t like the idea of jr. high students falling in love like that XP Better leave it to high school instead.

‘Kay, so, this is her Super Idol form and I screwed it up a little. Her gloves are only supposed to go just past her wrists and she’s supposed to have silver feathers attached to the sides of them. The left wrist is supposed to have that pink band they get to change to super idol form XP Other than that, it’s perfectly fine.

Name: Sakura Kaoru
Age: 16
Height: 5'5"
Race: Mermaid
Family: She doesn’t know her parents. Aqua Regina took her from her dying kingdom and placed her with Kaito and his family, so the Doumoto family took in both Kaito and Sakura, though they used the “we found her elsewhere” excuse and gave her a different last name. They’re the only family she’s ever known.
Love Interest: Even though I really love the LuciaXKaito pairing, I decided to be evil and pair my OC with Kaito because I love pulling pairings apart like that and it’s fun XP Plus, I CAN. Their shipping is SilverShipping
Short Background:
- She’s the mermaid princess from the Greenland Sea

- She and Lucia DO NOT get along
- Her human form has white blonde hair that rests just past her shoulders and is slightly wavy with chin length pieces covering her ears and the curli-cue on top. She also has light blue eyes.

So yeah, that’s a little bit about my OC. She’s one of my favorites and tons of fun to draw. I hope you all like her, too!
