This picture was drawn in September of 2011 and colored in March of 2012.
WARNING: This has been resized so some of the initial detail has been lost.
I can’t believe how long this has taken me to do. Goodness gracious, I’m so bad.
I wanted to test out my pose-making skills, and I think I was bored in some class, or something, which is how this picture came about. Being the Yori-obsessed person that I am, she happened to be the victim of my doodling.
There were many mistakes on the original sketch, so I changed a lot when doing the lineart, which I’m perfectly okay with.
On the note of poses, the only thing I referenced in this picture was the tennis shoes, which I referenced my own tennis for.
For those of you who don’t know, Yori Moto (the redhead in this picture) belongs to my bestest best friend in the entire world, Wulf-chan. I tend to sketch her a lot.
In knowing that, I should also tell you that I color her a lot with either a green or maroon shirt, so this time I went with purple.
Alright, story time!
Yori, Yugi’s older sister, is staying at the Game Shop for a short time—what she deems as a visit. One afternoon, she’s worn out from a day of doing . . . stuff, so she curls up on the floor of the main room of the house and falls asleep. Yami, exploring the house in Yugi’s body, finds her there. She looks so Peaceful, he thinks. I wish she’d look more like that when she’s Awake.
For those of you not in the know, Yori is rather tense and a bit standoffish with other people, which is all due to caution.
So, in light of that, I’ll inform you that the shadowy-looking blob is supposed to be Yami. I was going with a generic blank shadow—I know it looks NOTHING like him.
I know you guys don’t know who she is and probably don’t care, but I hope you like it anyway.
