longing ~sans melody

This is my second entry for the "Passion in the Dark" poetry/art contest. Its quite a bit shorter than my first, but I like it as well. The title, is quite obviously based on an X Japan ballad, but it fits.
If you know me well, you should know who I'm taking about in the poem below...but if not, the picture frames in the picture (which is btw, a dark simplification of my room in watercolors) should be a hint also.
So yeah, the poem is written about one (sorta two) person(s) who is very very important to me.The date shown on the calendar is also very significant, as most fellow jrock fans (and everyone ;_;) should know)

Woke up to the smell of tears
Found myself shrouded in sadness
I'm not sleepy, but I'm so tired
Jaded eyes already, awake for just a few minutes
Already tired of what I see
Already sick of the air I breathe
I desire nothing more than to be with you
But you're so far away

I wanna touch your hand
Want to make you smile
Your sadness makes me sad
You're missing him; I miss him too
Because I do and because of you too
Wish you could see him again
Wish I could be next to you

So tired of loving you from afar
Need to let you know
I'm here if you need someone
Can't love anyone else but you
Don't want to either
Even though I feel pain
Thinking of you every second, every day

Fake smiles, both of us
Sunglasses hiding sadness in your eyes
Money "makes the world go round"
You've got a lot; I've got none
People would think you've got everything
Though you lost it all
Missing pieces, never to be found

I can't find them, no one can
But I want to love you still
Bright blue sky outside my window
Darkness shrouding the inside
Always, destroy, aftermath, hell, life
Wish I could live again.
