Description
Description
This is a more special and personal artwork from me, not as say 'commercial' as others might have been done by me.
This picture is to celebrate my late friend, Amanda. To much of my sadness she passed away and was one of my closest friends, do not wish to discuss cause of death.
I feel with her being a great fine artist and had adored such things as Rabbits like Peter rabbit by Beatrix Potter and felt the need to do this artwork in her memory and I hope she would've loved it.
She was a great giving person, thought more of others than her, doing her 1st year of BA Fine Art at university and I believed she would've had many great great years ahead of her. I miss her a lot, even though we went to two different uni's we still kept in close contact. She was open and honest and helped give me advice when I needed it, especially about my artwork and uni artwork and miss not having those opinions to help me (do desperately feel like I need it at times).
You could kind of call her one of my best friends.
RIP

About the artwork, I referenced from Beatrix Potter.
While watercolouring it I realised that the Stylo pen I drew the outlines with smudges and blends with the watercolour, giving a much darker affect and wasn't as vibrant as what I wanted it to be. No pencil lines were used, drawn directly with pen and I personally see a few mistkes in my drawing due to it but I love the overall outcome.
Done with Watercolour palette paints and a Stylo Pen.
