Teh yay! ^^ This is my gift for Mandy94t. In truth, she asked for this quite a while ago, but I was never able to get around to it. I finally did it! <333
These are her yamis, Ikari and Daisuke. Ain't they cute? <333 I'm not so sure if I got all the details right for ya, Mandy-chan, but I did my best. ^^ I hope you like it!

XD I'm glad you like it, I really am. I was worried that I wouldn't get the colors and shtuff right. ^^;; But they're cute, and I liked drawing them. You just need a little more practice, dear. <333
And I'm glad that your yamis liked it. :3 Though Ikari-chan needs to clean off that blood every once and a while. <3

Oooh, this is really lovely. And I think I see some places where you've run over the color with white; good, it does look smooth. :3 (Maybe I just didn't notice before; sorry, my comp res can often be pretty bad~ >>; )
But this is really awesome. And wow, I'm jealous. You draw some really good feminine curves. X3 Very nice though, really~♥
Have you tried using some different shades of coloring yet in the base colors? That's what really makes a picture pop. For example, for the guy's red shirt, maybe add a light layer of light brown to the darkest areas? Finish trying it out, don't stop in the beginning, then look at the whole thing to see if it looks good! If it looks bad, then just erase! You can erase an amazing lot with colored pencils; and also, erasing over an area makes it smoother yet for the next layer of colored pencil; though it could leave a slight variation in hue between the erased parts and unerased.
But anyway, try it out! The guy's dark blue pants would be perfect for some purple shadows, and so on~ try things out~ :3 Don't be afraid to blend colors~ :3 The effect is almost always better! :D
And um~ sorry to be throwing these huge tips/crits at you, but for folds in clothing, don't make them all go in the same direction! You do have some variety in the pants legs, but still, don't just draw lines. Actually, very often, I draw folds as 'hooks' or 'V's rather than lines, because most folds on our clothing have to bend back at one point or another; otherwise the fabric wouldn't be flat! It's just a matter of studying folds to figure out how these work. :3
On the other hand though, I really love the folds around the shirts; they're all really well done, and I particularly like the ones on the girl. :3 Maybe I should be taking some notes from you, haha.
Really though; awesome pics. I'm sorry for turning you into my comment dump, but I can't help but point out a few tiny places where you can improve. ;)
Your art is really good so far, and I think you have lots of potential, so~♥
Keep it up!! :)

My problem is that I have all pretty crappy colored pencils. *sigh* Blegh. And jah, I'm much better at girls then guys (probably since most of my characters when I started drawing were female. :3) Jealous? Silly. XD
Actually, yeah, I usually do go over it with a few different colors; perhaps I'm just not going hard enough. ^^;; But jah, that's a really good idea. ^^;; I just don't have experience with coloring and shtuff. I only started doing variations with it like . . . this year? ^^;; So many good ideas that you have. *bows to ze master*
Hey, no problem! It's obvious to me that I need more practice and help. Thanks for that as well. :3
XD Nah, no notes from me; you've been giving me all the good tips. XD And thank you, really, I luve you for all this. <333

Yeah, I know what you mean about the colored pencils. My Prang are okay; I've gotten used to the way they work and just need to slather my pics with extra layers, but the browns completely hate me when something's gotta be touched up; I've mainly switched over to using purple for shadows now. >>;
Just don't be afraid to press down hard! :D You know, I went over half of Mitsuru's wings in that 'sky child' picture, then hated it and erased it all, And it came off pretty well~ so don't be afraid. :) Every extra layer you apply, whether it stays or not, will smoothen out your pic a little bit more and add some more variation in hue and depth. :)
Keep it up! I'm glad you aren't hating me for this, lol. XD; ♥

You know what kind of colored pencils I have? A mixture of crayola and random ones I stole from the art room. XD See, you can't really blame me. ^^;;
I will try my best to experiment more with them in the future. And . . . o.O Wowsa. I'd never have guessed. It's shmexorfied. ^^ And nuus, I could never hate you for helping me out! ^^ I've passed that stage. A few years ago I might've bitten your head off, but I've gotten to the point where I just want to improve. ^^;;
