Gaze upon my randomness and despair. XDDD I suppose I was just going for the typical manga magic girl sort of thing, but I don't exactly like how it turned out. It looked SO much better uncolored. T_T I also colored it before I got Trinity_Fire's awesome tips, so it's not as good as it could have been. ^^;;
For the record, I hate her face. >.> And this picceh as a whole, but blegh.

Woooooooooooow, wowowwowowowow!!! This is a really amazing piece; what are you talking about???? DX< Don't get discouraged or anything by my tips, though, serously~ I'm just hoping they help and give you ego!boosts instead~ XD
I think it's pretty darn awesome!! I mean, WHOAH. It's some pretty good anatomy too, if you ask me. You know I can't draw females; and I've barely ever drawn a full-body pic (IF I EVER HAVE, LOL) so it's brilliant. :) I mean, the hair, whoosh! Wow! And her hands are pretty well done, if you ask me. :) And the folds of her dress and everything~♥
Okay, I know it's before I gave the tips, but~ just for, example, the fire. The blue's good; better than bright red fires, because fire in reality is rarely red. Blue is good as a base, but it's preceded by clear fire before it burns back to yellow and then orange; it's really hard to do this, so I'd suggest cutting back on the blue next time so it's just a tiny light touch of it, and don't be afraid to allow the white to shine through, as that's the biggest part of fire; just light. :) But this is really nice~ just be careful with mixing blue and yellow, 'cuz as you know it makes green. ;)
This is a subject I learned in the only serious art class I took: complementary colors. They're opposite colors, and when mixed, tend to make a kind of grayish blackish color; not too pretty. They are: Red and Green, Blue and Orange, and Yellow and Purple.
Yellow and Purple works a little differently, as yellow's pretty soft and Purple isn't too 'dark' in general. Actually, that's why you'll see some artists shade human skin with purple; it is a really interesting color combo. Also, smoothening it over a lot produces some really nice new shades.
I don't want to sound egotistical, but if you flip a few pages back through my gallery, there was this one picture I did of Ky Kiske of Guilty Gear. His hair is blond, but I'd shaded the darker areas with -not yellow- but purple! It was a really fun test, and I think the end result was pretty good; the areas I went over with purple became really smooth, because the colors were kinda bad, but after applying more and more layers, I achieved some really interesting hues. So play around with yellow and purple some; I rather like those two colors. :) It's fun just to test out how they work. (Even with crappy colored pencils, yes~ ;D )
Ahhh, such long rambling~ @_@ I-I'm sorry... (I'm not even sure what the point was... B-But I hope it helped... >>; S-Sorry...)
Anyway. This pic is still awesome. The only other thing I can say would be to work a little at the water to make it more realistic; and don't be afraid to use a ruler! You're perfectly allowed to use rulers in art. ;) Some more shadows on the water, and then maybe a more solid background; colors are nice sometimes as BGs, but when you put a color with a solid landscape/object, like water, we expect to see a sky/land/etc behind it. :)
Just a few tiny things to keep in mind~ sorry again for my rambling~
Really though, amazing art. Keep it up. :)

Nuu, I'm not really discouraged by your tips; it just shows me that I have a long way to go. ^^;; And it really does help. I used your shading tips in the contest picceh I did for Saru_no_Cheesecake! <333 It turned out half-decent.
Well, I know the fire sucks. ^^;; I never was shown how to draw it, and thus ze problem. XD I'll keep that in mind in the future. And same thing with the water- Like I said, no experience in coloring it or anything. This pic was kinda random anyways, as I didn't really think it out.
o.O Wow, I'd never thought of that! For the most part I've been using peace/deco peach/browns in the skin, as well as some pinks. Thanks for that! I'll keep it in mind. :3 Thanks for the awesome comments, woman! <333
