It's been a while since I drew any of the Harbingers cast, so I decided to draw Syan-darling. <333 Ain't he cute? I've changed his hair somewhat, as well as a few things, but I think it makes him look more like a man. (He looked too much like a lady even for my standards before. ^^;;)
And yesh, he belongs in this section. *pokes ears* He ish an elf. An elf who happens to be a prince, but he's an elf. =3 Despite the fact that I haven't been able to write at all, much less work on any characters, I do love my Syan-kun. <333 He's too damn cute, though. I was thinking 'bout making him straight, but he's just too uke-ish. Ah, well, let's see what happens. =3

Yesh. But see, he looked even more like a girl in the previous drawings! XDDD I adore my Syan-kun. And redheads are among my favorite ones to color, just 'cause your tutorial made them so fun to do so. XD I like side-profiles. =3 And eyes are fun, although I think my eyes are a little odd.
Mm, ears. I always have problems with 'em. T_T But thanks for the tip, really. Now I know how to do them. XD *will practice* And, yeah, I always knew that that hair right there wasn't very realistic or nice-looking at all, but I wasn't sure how to do it. I've been trying to change how I do hair for months. I'll just have to try harder, I guess. ^^;;
I luve you. <33333

I-I mean, what a pretty gi-Guy you are, Syan-kun~ =_=; Ahem. Yeah.
Oooh, but it's really quite gorgeous. I have to say, I might be becoming biased towards your redheads... simply because of how pretty their hair looks. u_u; Oh goodness.
Anyway, it's really quite lovely~ and his eye is so pretty~! You're drawing some pretty kickass side profiles, too. (And... is that pink on his lips???? D: )
Um, for a quick bit of crit'ing...
Be careful where you put the ears. If you look in real life, the tops of our ears align to our eyes, and the bottoms to our lips. So make sure the ears on your characters aren't too low, or it looks a little awkward. I know it's an elf ear; but just sketch out a regular ear real lightly, then add the tip. :)
And... I'm really not sure how to put this. Umm... it's kinda hard to get out, but the hair is a little awkward in places. I'm mostly focusing on his ponytail here... I think you could learn to smoothen out the hair a little so it's a little les... clumpy, get what I mean? This might also seem a bit hypocritical, but also, hair usually doesn't thicken as it moves down along the ponytail; it thins out as different "chunks" branch off, y'know what I mean?
Okay, here's a ref:

I think that you should try to make the hair you draw a little thinner and smoother; it's harder, yeah, but I think you'll get the hang of it sooner or later. Hair itself doesn't clump into triangles, so it'll seem more natural too. And though I know that the strands that go off go off on 'tangents' of a sort, hair generally stays together and follows the same pattern, like in the pic. So I think a little tweaking and fiddling around with what you're comfortable with will make the hair flow better. :)
It's already quite pretty though; I'm just giving you some tips. Take 'em or leave 'em, all up to you. No need to follow me. (I hope I'm not a nazi, haha.)
Awesome artwork, still! This one is truly gorgeous. ♥
