Dustin Shico

Dustin sat as he stared at the clouds, deep in thought.
He heard footsteps from behind him, nevertheless, he continued to stare up a the sky.
"I know it's tough dude. but you'll finally understand all this when you meet Master T." Shane took a seat next to him, leaning back on his hands, and keeping his legs strait before him.
Dustin sighed. "I just wish somebody told me earlier. You didn't even tell me you were a shico!" Dustin glanced over at his friend.
Shane bowed his head in thought, then looked over at Dustin. His multi colored eye glistening in the sunshine.
"I know. but our race is horribly rare. We had to make sure you were OK your whole life."
Dustin raised an eyebrow. "so you knew this about me all along?" he asked.
Shane nodded, his hair sliding back down over his eye, and his goat ears showing now.
"yup. I'm actually 117 years old. my mother and brother have been granted immortality; I always thought you knew."
Dustin looked away; back at the clouds. "no."
Shane sighed once again. He looked at the clouds also.
