whats to do when playing with fire becomes boring?

Khryst is the little girl character. she was in a ship collision when she was little and is now deeply traumatized, doesn't talk much. but she is extremely intelligent. far smarter than a 10 year old should be. but she's blind in her right eye, and walks with a very slight limp on her left side. she also wears some odd glasses, the lens covering her blind eye is cracked and forms a full circle, with blinders and the one for her good eye is a half circle. the rims are thick curved wires that kinda wrap around her ears. her hair is pale blond and kinda short, its got three corn rows on each side above her pointed ears, the rest hangs over the corn rows to about her jaw. she's about 10, so she only stands around four foot something and her thin, long limbed body is quite scarred up from the collision. she wares a short, very tight red shirt, that doesn't quite reach her belly button and baggy, tattered, black based armyish pants, with a plane black-leather belt. she's bare footed most of the time. but she owns three pairs of socks, and a pair of standard army boots. she also has bar-code dog tags, but there not hers, she got them from one of her parents before they died in the collision. she's the same race as Jade and Roderick, so her nails are pointy as well, and her K-9 teeth are also elongated. but being a child, these features are not noticeably developed. her eyes stand out though, the blind one is constantly bloodshot, but the veins are blue, neon blue, standing out vividly in the black white of her eye , and they encompass the entire eye. not just the white. her irises in both eyes are florescent lavender in color. the reflection of her eyes usually blocks this from view, but the white pupil of her right eye contains a bar code, the same number as the one on her dog tags. she's very attached to jade and Kit (not openly), but Roderick makes her nervous with his blankness of personality that rivals hers. Khryst has a habit that annoys every one who is usually around her, she loves to play with knives and she takes them if they're left easy to get to. and fire, she's a little pyro, something she probably picked up from Kit. she's even made her own bowie knife that can flame down its spine. her hands sport more than a few burns from the time before she knew how to properly "play with fire." she's very good with a blade too, another trait of hers that is uncharacteristic of a girl her age. but in spite of her intelligence, she still holds the mind-set and curiosity complex of a 10 year old.

About the pic: lots wrong with it, but if you can't find the flaws i'm not gonna point them out lol (other than the fact she looks way too damn old

about the cat:Rehtnap is Khryst's cat. It stands over five feet tall at the shoulder, so its huge. Its head is massive, if it wanted to it could crush a person's skull. but in spite of this, Rehtnap is actually very friendly. But she doesn't like being ridden on. Khryst has had her since she was the size of a normal kitten. Even as big as she is now, she's still growing. Her build is very lean, and her legs are quite long. her tail is also very long, and her muzzle is proportionaly longer than a normal cats, and contains six (three on each side) very long k-9 teeth on her top jaw, and four (two on each side) slightly shorter ones on her bottom jaw. but none of her teeth protrude out of her mouth when its shut. her silver fur is quite bushy, except around her face. there it sort of lays flat. she's got a black calico pattern all over her as well. she listens to anyone who regularly inhabbits he Hell-Hawk (Kit's ship) Rehtnap has long pointy ears, and her eyes are silver, matching her coat. and she has a marking on her face that resembles a cross, which makes many people uneasy. or it may just be that she's a gigantic cat that has the effect.
