Description
This is all you need for a cheap lightsaber that can withstand much sparring and whatnot:
^_^
1 wooden dowel rod
Red craft paint
Clear varnish
Silver duct tape
Black duct tape
Red electrical tape
My friend and I made a red lightsaber and a green one for a school movie project. It doesn't take long; just wait for the paint to dry before taping up the handle. If you use this for sparring, you may have to repaint every once and a while... It may not be completely balanced, but you can probably cut the dowel rod to suit you.
NOTE: Lightsaber will NOT glow... unless you have Photoshop XP
