Duel

The guns clicked in hasty anticipation, trembling slightly in each of their captors hands as they awaited use. The younger looked down in disbelief at his own hand, staring out into the blank ten paces ahead of him. He could feel his brother against his back, his breathing even without any hint of movement outside the wind that picked up out of no where. He tried to speak, his mouth opening in vain for nothing in his head would come out in the form of words. His brother knew, he always knew, and only when he spoke his the younger hear the tremble in the elders voice.
"We must brother. We must."
