Darrrrrn! I'm watching The Universe on TV sort of and my manga is about a planet that orbits a red dwarf. Well, I got all of the facts right. A red dwarf is a very good thing to circle and the planet would be closer, indeed, and the color of the sky would be a reddish white, very close to the color of the sky in my story, but there is a single problem. "In order for a planet to receive the right amount of head an energy from a red dwarf, it would have to revolve so close, that a year would last 6 Earth days. Well, that kind of puts a dent in my plan. Because the years were about 316 Earth days I think. And I had it figured out so well, too. There may be a way I can fix this. Cos the planet revolves very slowly, so there's 11.5 Earth days of light and then 11.5 of light. Maybe I could make that 6 and... no, wait, I had it figured out in a perfect time system too and that would totally mess it up. Well, I think I can still work with this and be cosmetically accurate, yupyup! I'll just have to rewrite and double check some things to take care of this. And it should probably be about a tad over or under 5 days cos it's supposed to be very hot. Hmmm... but what if the planet was a barren, inhospitable, rocky wasteland. And what if it had a really thick atmosphere. Cos that;s what's going on. I must do research! Time to hit the books!
