Feel free to skip these comments if you want, cause there's a story behind this and although I don't mean it to be it might sound a little preachy...
Something just hit me the other day as I was taking a look at some of the Seshoumaru pics out there. Even though Seshoumaru lost his arm in his introduction storyline he is almost always drawn with two arms (as is especially noticeable whenever he's drawn shirtless). I just found that a little odd as even Seshoumaru himself seems to have gotten used to the fact that he only has one arm (It has been a long time since the last time he tried to replace it).
Anyway, maybe the reason this notion really hit me is because of a girl I used to work with (she lost her arm in an auto accident her senior year when she was hit by a drunk driver), she had this great inspirational story about how depressed she was after her accident and what it took for her to get back to working towards what she wanted to do in life, and realize that missing an arm didn't make her any less the person she was. By the time I met her she was one of the most cheerful people I'd ever met with a real determination on getting her culinary degree. last time I saw her she was heading to a big culinary arts school out of state, she had been saving up for it since before I met her, She was hoping from there to become a chef and work towards someday opening her own restaurant. I really miss her sometimes; she helped me gain perspective on my life when my first college try didn't go so well.
Anyway, it seemed a similar thing that, as it seemed to me, Seshoumaru had realized over time that missing an arm made him no less formidable than he had formerly been. But that might just be my opinion.
