Water color pencils are impossible to use. I tried them on a picture when I first started drawing (around January) and I have not used them since.
I will start using them once I actually get good at this crap.
As for the drawing, you do a good job of conveying the Invader Zim style, but it looks way to innocent. The proportions are nicely done, and your expression looks very Zim like, even though it's way too innocent. The only thing I recommend doing differently is trying to convey the sinisterness (is that a word?) in Jhonen's style a bit more.
