Grounded

Well, if you take a look at my gallery, you can pretty much tell that I love to draw fairies. I have never colored one of my own characters digitally and wanted to try it out. So I designed this fairy who is rather beat up actually as you can tell from her torn wings. She also has the shackles on her wrists and her ankle to show that she won't be going anywhere any time soon. Of course it is a bit symbolic of my life at the moment. And I have no idea what she is looking at. You'll have to use your imaginations on that one. Perhaps she is looking at the person who will set her free. Yes, another metaphor. Hope you enjoy.
