   More gift art, baby!

I dedicate "Night Bird" to the amazing artist Nightbird. He has always been so supportive and has always said such wonderful things about my work, that I would just like him to know how much I appreciate it! Somehow, he always finds time to comment on all of my new pieces that I submit, and I love reading his comments.

Thank you so much Nightbird! I wish I had a better piece to dedicate to you, but for some reason, the brush stroke details didn't show up as I'd hoped when I scanned this image. I thought a little swallow resting on some black and white cherry blossoms would be really nice, and I did some research on the internet and found a cool dictionary that has all the chinese characters that you could think of, and "Night Bird" turned out looking pretty cool! I just wish it would of turned out less blurry...

Anyways, thank you so much Nightbird. You a very valuable friend! *hugs*

bruffleshnifActually, I think that because it's blurry, it makes it so much better...I know this may sound wierd but think about it. It gives such a wonderful, safe feeling, because it looks like the swallow truly belongs with the blossoms, and there's that idea of freedom forming because of how the inhk speads out a bit. I really love this picture, you did such wonderful work. Also, the knajii for nightbird looks awesome...where do you manage to find all of these ?
