Alethea's Daydream

The expansive water she was expecting to see was twining ropes of vines and flowers. Trees popped up out of the depths and when she tore her eyes away from this sight she found the houses no longer stood. She was on a grassy plain and to her far right rose a large crystal building. A castle? Alethea, feeling in a dream state walked and walked towards the towering structure. Yet the longer she walked, the further her goal seemed. Staring ahead she did not notice the mirror until she tripped on its ornate edge and sprawled out onto it.
"Ow.."
she uttered to herself and then gasped in shock as she realized she was face to face not with herself but a boy with pale skin and dark hair.
