Updated: Final version
Just in time for Halloween, another piece for my calendar.
There's a few things I want to tweak before it gets put in the calendar, like the hands mainly.
This piece took a slightly different turn from what I originally intended. I was checking layers for deletion and closed all the layers I had for his pants ( which were rather cool: a sort of metallic satin blood-red.) leaving just the mist where his pants would be, making him look part of the mist. As much as I liked the pants, the mist background struck me as too interesting a design to pass up. I guess I'll just have to use the pants in another painting. ;)
Would have been done sooner but I've been sick and had a bit of a software setback where I lost *all* of my custom brushes in Painter. I had templates for my pattern brushes, so they were pretty easy to rebuild, but my 'hair' brushes and other settings needed to be redone from scratch. <sigh> At least I'm still on schedule. I hope to have the calendar ready by the 2nd week of November. :)
