Naive Princess and Shadow

Woooweee. I love this picture alot. My friends liked it too. My friend Kasia said "I would freak out if I saw that thing! Is she stupid?" The answer. Yes. Yes she is. She's impressionable and listens to the evilness of that shadow.

If you look at it, it looks as if the princess is leaning in ready to listen. Yesiree.

It orginally started out as a skeleton for a picture based on the song "Pet" by A Perfect Circle, and I drew a funky chair instead of what I wanted and then drew the princess. The shadow was added to take up space, but it became an important part.

Colored with Dual Brush Markers, my first and best attempt at skillfully using markers, and fancy ones too. I want this to become a story and I'm working on the concept now.
