Cheshire Watching

*Spoiler: I'm using this as a scene for my FF. It won't be a comic, but I like to draw my scenes to get a better feel for them.

I'm taking a Creative Writing class at my high school and I thought that for one of my projects I'd do a fractured-fiction of Alice in Wonderland. Cheshire, one of the few non-hostile (I hesitate to call him friendly) characters, is watching from a tree as Alice tries to find out where to go next.
I have to appologize for the poor definition in Alice's dress... and face... and hair... and the fact that both her hands are hidden, and her legs are huge!. In fact, I spent so little time on her, she pretty much just sucks all around! I don't even think I'll have her wearing her old AiW dress, she might wear something easier to move in since she know how hard it was to get around in that frumpy ol' dress of hers last time.
Cheshire is humanoid, and I'm still trying to figure out just how to draw him so he looks sinister and selfish, yet still has the capacity to help Alice out (as little as possible).
And just you wait for the Queen of Hearts!
